1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AlgoVizuals (“the Platform”), operated by AlgoVizuals (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

AlgoVizuals is an algorithm learning platform that provides coding problems, algorithm visualisations, execution traces, and code submission capabilities. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behaviour.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems.
  • Submit malicious code, exploits, or content designed to disrupt the Platform.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform except as permitted by applicable law.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform without consent.
  • Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.

5. Code Submissions

Code you submit to the Platform is executed in a sandboxed environment for evaluation purposes. You retain ownership of your code. However, by submitting code, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process, store, and display your submissions within the Platform for the purpose of providing the service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to problems, editorial explanations, visualisations, algorithms, design, and trademarks, is the property of AlgoVizuals or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our written permission.

7. Privacy & Data

We collect and process personal data necessary to operate the Platform, including your email address, name, and usage data. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Account data is stored securely and retained for the duration of your account. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at admin@algovizuals.com. 8. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate with third-party services such as Google OAuth for authentication. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party service providers.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AlgoVizuals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
